...any Cerb owners going?

I'm looking at going to the 24hr this year and wondering what everyone else is doing. i.e. If there's a group going and camping in a particular location, I'm inclined to try & join in but if not, I'll just do my own thing.

Then the next step will be trying to find a spare camping ticket. biggrin

Bit late for a camping ticket I think.

Loads of TVRs will be going though. Drop in on the Le Mans forum (if you haven't already). Also try the Facebook pages of the TVR groups in your area.

Haven't been for a good few years now. frown

If you cant get tickets then drive to your local wetherspoons - the ambience is similar.

You can usually pick something up from someone else who can't make it...

...failing that, I'll stay at Centre Parcs and doss in the car on Sat night. wink

Yeah, I know there will be plenty going, I'm just seeing if there's scope for tagging along with a like minded bunch, whether it be through one of the organised setups or just winging it.

Ooooohhhh... Get you. wink

I'd suggest more like a Yates Bar rather than Wetherspoons.

hehe

I'm going. Big group of us this year, 10 -12 cars, I'm the only Tiv. We camp about 7 miles away from the track where it's much more civilised (albeit that's a relative term!)

I'm going too, again only one with a TVR in the group. We occasionally have someone drop out so if a space comes up I'll give you a shout...

Some pics from last year smile

My Cerb and I are making our first return to the 24HR in 9 years (there has been a Classic attendance in between). Travelling down with a Sag, staying with Team Langoustine. Was promised hot showers, clean toilets and cold beers!

Have just got it back from a respray and now undecided about stickers!

Go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are worried about peeling them off again, use a hairdryer to soften them up first and they come off a treat!!!
After Le Mans 2013 I took off some of the stickers (for some unknown reason, my missus took offence at the "louder than your mum last night" one on the back of the boot...) but left the Gulf stripes and the large 24 numbers on for a while after - and even after being on the car for I think 3 months or more, with the hairdryer treatment they came off no issues.

I was much more restrained in 2009 (first time had stickered up a car...):

Shame I didn't realise it was you, Mike.
(Then again, perhaps it was better that I didn't laugh)

Yes - looks like we'd just rocked up at Portsmouth after a "spirited" drive down...
You should have come over and said "hello"...!!

Dont get me wrong, my car is normally stickered up (spent 2 years with bloody great big bullet 'holes' on it). Just that Im enjoying the clean, freshly painted look. No doubt I will cave in nearer the time smile
