Restoring Sage files

I am trying to restore a previous Sage backup. The system goes through the motions and announces 'Restore Successful' at the end. Only it isn't.

I have tried this with the secondary backup and the same thing happens. Anyone any clues?

The secondary backup is not a plain copy of the original backup file, but was generated by a completely separate backup run in Sage. It looks as though both are corrupt at the momment unless anyone knows different. If it makes any difference, it was an 'All Files' backup not just a 'Data Files' backup.

Tried it on a different PC/version of Sage, just to rule out any issues with the PC you're using?

If not then I think you're best to speak to Sage, I'd imagine they have some stuff to recover it but I'm sure it won't be free

Just tried it on the other PC with the same result.

Looks like I might have to wake up the moths in my wallet!!
