Bit of fun in a 5.5 at Curborough Sprint yeasterday.

My No3 son and I took part in the club sprint day yesterday.
As usual, a good fun day was had with plenty of runs.
My first run was about a 1.30.5 and that dropped to a 1.27.6 on the last run of the day, (video below).
My son, (used to a 1.2 Corsa) started with a first run of 1.45 and his last do or die run of the day a very credible 1.29.9.
Fastest road car times were;
Exige S 1.27.2
Carrera S1.29.6
RS500, (hardly a road car!) 1.22.7
Impreza 1.30.3
Caterham 1.27.6
Westfield 1.26.7
Atom 1.26.1
Impreza 450bhp 1.29.9
M35 S/C 650BHP! 1.31.4
Last run at nearly 5.30pm when most had left.

I have a few clips that No2 son has to edit that I'll put up later. These include a great tank slapper and my son almost binning it on the grass after heavy braking/getting it wrong in the braking area, (spot the tyre marks at the end of the video!).

Very pleased with it, (especially as my boys bought it as a pressie for me).That was taken on a very cloudy day with fading light at about 5.20pm.
Settings on sort of standard, (haven't really looked into it yet!).
Easy go use, just link to an iPad and do all the settings and watch live from it.
I just found out what that strange nioise was towards the end.
The ARB drop link has parted company with the wishbone.
I suppose stiffer ARBs transfer more stress to that point.
Just spoke to Precat and he had the same problem!
Anyhow, that was my quickest time with no ARB
