Hi all

I'm sorry but I'm sure this onehas been done to death, but I've got a query. I've got a S1 111S Elise that has been shut away for the last couple of months, Saturday morning was nice and bright so after recharging the flat battery I took it out for a run. The thing is the temperature didn't get above 70 degrees, I was taking it steady as I'd not been out for a while and the roads are still a bit greasy but did give it it's head every now and then.

The question is, should it be running this low and have I anything to be concerned about. Unfortunately I'm not remotely mechanically minded so don't want to do any damage.

Regards

Mark

Maybe one duff temp sender?

I think I've heard that happening before. Mine's been running at 76deg solid for as long as I can remember. Was up in the 80's for most of summer, forgot to have it checked when it went in for it's B + cambelt - DOH!

Take the blue sender out and clean the thread with a wire brush and try again.

If it makes no difference I'd take a look at the thermostat.
