I was thinking of having my 500 alloys re-couloured by wicked wheels to anthracite..I think they would match the car better. Has anybody had the 500 alloys re-couloured by this company or have any pictures of the 500 wheel in anthracite?

Take a look at my car through my profile, let me know if you think anthracite coloured wheels would suit better. The car is the gold Chimaera 500.

Think it would suit your car perfectly, yellow/gold shades really do suit the dark wheel combos. Your car looks great by the way.
Afraid I can't help you on cost though.

Looking at your car I would personally leave it as it is, the silver wheels give it a real clean fresh appearance.

I am a fan of dark wheels by the way.

OK, spoke to head office (wicked wheels) they reckon around £65 per wheel. I need to speke to the guy who operates in Cheshire to get a final quote. The company comes highly recomended, and can do the wheels onsite in their purpose built vans.

Right, got the quote £200+VAT for 4 wheels if they are in good nick and need no further attention..if you have scratches or the wheels have been curbed it's a further £10 per wheel to sort them out. The guy said he would do one wheel and fit it to the car..if I though it was too dark he could lighten it and vice versa..cool!

Lepsons don't operate in my area, so I would have to take the wheels off and then courier them down to them which isnt an option for me.


I need more opinions on this..do you think anthracite wheels would suit my car??

I think it would look v good with a gold car. And if you don't like them you could always swap them with someone on here who's got originals in good condition.

Wicked Wheels are coming tomorrow to anthracite my wheels, will post the photos once it's done.

looking forward to see what they will be like, I Have always wanted them on my griffith, think they look good on yellow cars. but not sure with the original wheels? i take it they can do the wheel nut cover too with a good match to the alloy.

I think so..ive also changed the side repeaters to clear ones!

The guy has done a good job, Im well made up with the quality of work...the guy was sound.

I just going to see if my mate will host them for me...dont go away!
