Help needed with Minecraft Xbox 360 Mods, it's too hard!

hi Guys,
I am sure someone here can help,me with this, but this is driving me nuts.
My son Tom has Minecraft which he plays on the Xbox 360.
However he wants to do different things now which means we have to apply some mods.
At first I though this would be easy to do direct from the Xbox itself, how wrong could a be!
So we had to install a program on the Wife's PC ( I use macs , I hate PCs!) called horizon.
So far so good, we did this a few months ago and followed the guide, downloaded a few mods and these seemed to work ok.
Now Tom wants a mod called the morph mod, so we found that mod, and downloaded it, but it's only for certain versions on minecraft like v1.7, which I assume is for the Pc minecraft only?
Once we have downloaded this mod, we try to import it into horizon, but it says it's not an Xbox 360 file, so it does not work!
So when we do a search for the mod, it keeps sending us to loads of what look like spam sites, full of buttons saying download, which she. You click on them look like a version of Adobe flash player installling , but I k ow they are not genuine Adobe updates, they all look like spam!
So I have basically failed and need help!
Can anyone tell me how to do this easily please, and where to find the mod files without all of this PC spam bull**it!

AFAIK only the PC version is moddable - we've got the PS3 version and there are no mods (although lots of updates) for it.

We have managed one or two mods, but it's like rocket science!

No wonder you're having trouble - It's a proper Xbox 360 modding tool, the sort of thing that gets you permabanned from Xbox Live.

I would consider myself fairly competent with computers, but I would think twice before using a tool like that.
As was said above, get the PC version - everything is set up to make it easy to install mods there.
