Hello everyone,
I own a tvr 350i fhc and basically have just started to get it running and trying to sort the headlights out seems to be a problem. At the moment the only light that works is the full beams yet the pods do not want to come up at all. Is there a way to get the pods to come up manually? I've heard there is a part you can wind up but haven't been able to locate this. Secondly it would probably be easier to take the pod off all together if this is possible. If anyone's got any advice it would be good.
Cheers,
Haydn

Hi, the pods can be manually raised. If you stick your head into the wheel arch you will see a hand sized hole going into the pod area. if you put your hand in you should be able to find the knob that you turn to raise or lower.

Taking the pods out is pretty easy - again you will need to manually raise the pod, then remove the headlight assembly and you can then see the mechanism. It is quite common for the retaining bolt to be wired in to prevent it dropping out.

Cheers.

The armature that connects the motor to the pod is rose jointed and does need a gently pry off sometimes...
