W124 values increase

Is it me or have values of W124s increased of late? Wasn't that long ago you could pick up a decent one for sub £1000 but many are now far above that level with quite a few good ones at £3k +. Appreciate sticker price rather than sales price etc.

Yes, they have been slowly rising over the last 5 years. The quality of vehicles left on the road is also pretty good compared to just 5 years ago.
