959 Totalled by German Top Gear!!!!
Discussion
Apparently it happened a couple of days ago in Geneva. From Autogespot;
According to Porsche, the 959 has a very sophisticated all-wheel drive. Unfortunately could not save the owner of a 959 in Geneva when he lost grip and came to rest upside down. A crazy crash where we received images.
In Switzerland, now the people there are not often known to drive too fast. Everywhere there are speed cameras and fines are indeed enormous. The owner of this 959 according to bystanders drove too fast and lost it near the PalExpo the wet pavement at once all grip. He came with his supercar in contact with a guardrail and this caused the car landed on the roof. This is not a crash will see that people often in Switzerland. It is unknown how the driver came from and how much damage the Porsche has accumulated. Because 959 Kevlar bodywork, the loss will be huge.

EDIT - OK, jumped the gun, it looks like the owner totalled it, the Facebook page wasnt clear!

where does it mention top gear? (or D Motor)
It was mentioned on Facebook as a link from this and it is being assumed it was them that did it!https://www.facebook.com/#!/TopgearDeutschland
Never seen footage of a German top gear, but British top gear have referred to it before and done races against them haven't they?
There is American top gear, but after a couple of episodes I could take no more..
....... Seeing the 959 like that isn't nice. Hope the driver and pax were alright. That's going to be some costly repairs (if possible).

That's just for the german Top Gear magazine. There is no german Topgear TV show, they get the dubbed UK version and there a few other car shows (Grip, Auto Motor Sport TV, etc).https://www.facebook.com/#!/TopgearDeutschland

Isn't a totalled 959 of more interest than whether or not Germany has its own Top Gear programming?!Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
