Gear lever leather gaiter

Any guidance,please,on removing the centre console and fitting a new gaiter?

unscrew knob, remove two screws at back of console, lift slightly from the rear, just enough to be able to pull gaiter out.

reverse above for assembly

Thanks,that seems too easy.
Are you sure the body doesn't need to come off the chassis?
