My pride and joy has been languishing in my parents garage since just after christmas, awaiting new clutch parts to arrive before she can get low loaded to Joospeed.

Other than the obvious flat battery, is there anything else which could go wrong while being stood for potentially a few months?

Sorry to hear that Greg.

If it was wet when parked up, brakes may have locked.

I'd roll it forwards and backwards so teh tyres don't get a flat spot on them, other than that not a great deal you can do.

I have a clutch, just no bleeding slave cylinders .. arrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but .. as always I'm in negotiation with manufacturers all teh time .. the current supplier can't keep pace with demand so I'm looking at alternatives in addition, getting parts from several sources makes far more sense .. if one can't supply you just go to the next in the chain

Cheers Fellas! Will instruct my old man to do what you said (although i suspect he has secretly got it mended and is picking up little old dears in it and taking them to church )

Joolz have you looked at maybe getting an alternate flywheel/clutch/slave/master cylinder setup as an upgrade? My engineers can help out in this department - drop them a ring, I did ask them to give you a ring... office@autocraftsve.co.uk

I'm going all RAM 3 disc setup... but its mating with a 6 speed box.
