Bleedin gritters!!!

I'm extremely fg annoyed.

Just came down the A66 and got sprayed by a gritter at a closing speed of around 100mph.
The entire front end of my car now looks like a spotty teenager!!!

To make things worse, he apparently wasn't even gritting on his patch as the operators for that area didn't have any trucks out this afternoon.

Just got off the phone and they are sending me a claim form so they can investigate. Hopefully they will find the eedgit as the trucks have GPS loggers.
Lets see how reasonable they are when they get a claim for 700+ quid for a front end respray.

I only had a full doors off windows out respray 8 months ago.

Main problem at the moment is that it wasn't their truck. They need to try and trace the truck first.

My argument now is that if we trace the truck, why the hell was he gritting where he wasn't supposed to be gritting.

And even if it was their truck, why was he out gritting on a nice day when the road was barely damp let alone icy
