Be very interested to hear what ingredient budgets others involved in school meal production work to and whether its junior/senior or both. And whether food is from scratch, prepared by a 3rd party or a mixture.

I'm not sure of budget but of the three schools mine have attended all primary made from scratch. As part of the tour I insisted on speaking to the staff in the kitchen. They tend to use 3663/Brakes stuff and fruit and veg from tesco or independents.
