I don't think those pictures do it justice at all, also I don't think the colour complements it.

Nope. If its yours I mean no disrespect. But its no looker, IMO. Certainly not when compared to the Tuscan 2 - which is what the Tuscan should have looked like in the first place - and I really like it.

No reason why the Tuscan 2 shouldn't have an 'S' spec engine in it, either...if one has the funds I suspect TVR would be happy to make it.

IIRC the Sag, TuscS and Tam are largely the same car anyway...

I loved it at the '04 motorshow, but on reflection I think it was the colour and the occasion to be honest.

It makes a statement but its a bit much for me, if you see what I mean.

I like it,,,, but I don't 'Love it', it's not a car that I would aspire to own, like a sportscar (Tam fits my dream car criteria), and I know I would never push it's performance envelope, and I would never be able to take the roof off, which for me, as Mr Clarkson once said is 'The full English breakfast'.
It takes all sorts, and I can understand why more track orientated drivers would want it,, but, I'm not one of them (Don't think I'd say no though!! )

I is Jonny innit. And one just like this will be mine, all being well in a few months time. Hopefully with full vents too, though this is currently not confirmed.

I was reeeeally tempted by reflex green and will take my hat off to anyone that orders one in that colour but I wimped out and went for a colour I had seen it in and knew would look good. Imagine tvr tuscan racer style purple too.... gatwick tvr's demo car is coming in that colour in a few weeks time apparently.

Looks the bo11ox, like the colour and wheel combo, hope they don't loose the vents.

Wish I could afford one

I wish I could afford it too!

Totally understand the tamora thing, tvr have given me one while I'm waiting and it's an awesome piece of kit. Having had a convertible for a few years I'll miss that feature and I've given serious thought to getting a tamora.

0-60 in 3.7 ???? - I dont think so.

0-100 in 8.1 ????? - I really dont think so!

400bhp with 310lb/ft at 7000rpm ???? - Now I'm missing something????

The colour is fab, the work on the hood and the wings is pure art... but the overall profile still doesnt do it for me.... now if they did that to a Cerbera - then we're talking, and the figures above would be more believable....

That looks fantastic!

I may be wrong, but doesn’t the car in those photos still have the “older” back end on it with the fog and reverse lights in a seperate panel?

yes this is the autotrader car (they were giving it away free apparently) from last year's motorshow. It's in iced titanium. The back has changed for the better probably. The new slash cut exhausts are cool certainly.

And funtional too. If you look at the new back end the exhausts are now oval, compared to the chunkier circular version on the early design. Another nice touch.

I quite like it, but I don't love it. Not really into the slats, but hey, I'm sure it's a fab car, and hopefully will be well put together.

Would love to try one some time ....

I haven't seen one in the flesh but I think it looks fantastic in photographs!!!! I may apply for a test drive when they start becoming available in the dealerships (no disrespect to my Tammy of course!!!). Does anyone know when this is likely to happen?

I heard that they were coming out in the spring, but who knows?
It would be good for someone to do an independant road test to confirm some of these performance claims when they're released. If they're that fast, I might need one.
