Anyone know where the steering column is sourced from please? Is it a TR6 item?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You do not state what year the car is as there are 3 different versions

Ah, apologies master, still learning about these things... It's a 1972 3000M. Is that enough info? The chassis number is not fully decipherable as yet but I believe it contains the digits '2705'. Reg. plate is XOO 25L... if I can get it back from DVLA.

Thanks for your help. I suspect I may turn out to be a customer for you What can you tell me about supply of rollcages (anything off the shelf available, or only custom made?) and Perspex rear & side windows?

Yours feverishly

Out of a twisted perverse interest in number plates that I have. X00 is an essex plate, meaning the car was first registered in Chelmsford.

I have a spare column if you can't locate one locally.

First registered in Chelmsford..... 'discovered' in Stansted.... so THAT'S why it only has 23 miles on the clock

As the all-seeing Mr Terminator knows, this is the car that was on eBay. My chosen project is to rebuild the car for HSCC 70s RoadSports racing ENTIRELY with bits off eBay - the steering column question was ref. a TR6 steering wheel for sale thereupon.

No doubt I shall be back for (much) more advice and moral support from all you good people who have actually done the rebuild thing. Does anyone live near my Stroud location who would volunteer their 3000M for me to take a look over and take some photos of please? Anyone ever put a rollcage into one of these beasties?
