Stumpjumper FSR Comp Evo 29'er or Cube Stereo 140 HPA Pro?

So learned MTB'ers - which is the better all round proposition do you think?

Stumpy gets ace reviews (MBR bike of the year 2014), but the Cube comes with the superior Rockshox Pike front fork + a Rockshox Reverb dropper post and is cheaper at £2199 vs £2500 for the Spesh. The Cube is a much nicer looking bike too. The Stumpy is slightly lighter at 13.7Kg vs 13.9Kg for the Cube.

Which would you go for?

i'm a "hater" when it comes to Spesh and Orange. So out of the two i would go with the Cube because of the better equipment>price only downside is if like me you change your bikes a lot the Spesh would wrongly hold more value.

if you go for the cube, try not to break it as warranty issues take a while to get sorted

Canyon looks like a great bike, but it's a no go as I'll be purchasing it using the cyclescheme. Canyon don't accept cyclescheme vouchers.
