Local accountant for IR35 Ltd company (Farnborough)

I've got the possibility of going contracting. Can anybody recommend a local accountant in the Surrey/Hants area who can assist with Ltd company formation, accounts and payroll. If you have recent experience perhaps a steer on fees would be useful

I believe Kirk Rice in Ascot have a good reputation (although I have not used them myself). I have a few friends who use them for their book-keeping, PAYE, and preparing and submitting their annual returns and have never had any issues.

I pay £85 a month to mine who does all of the above, but I am paying a little less than market rates - somewhere in the region of £135-£165 a month seems the ballpark. You could pay much less if you use a web-based accountancy services company but they you will never get to speak to the same person twice, and they will never get to know you and your business.

I would recommend paying the little extra and going with a local accountant such as Kirk Rice who can get to know you, your business and who you can pick the phone up to when you have questions.

I send my contractors through an umbrella company which is £56.00 a month. That works very well. The company I use is Azebra 0845 838 0604

Definitely try Eric Mc - yes he's in Farnborough. Personal friend of mine, and a top bloke who knows his stuff. Indeed I'm an accountant, but would turn to him for advice. That's if he's not too busy....

Holy thread resurrection, batman, etc... but any reason for this? I found everything a lot easier with the umbrella company I used rather than being Ltd.
