Discussion
After seeing a snap a couple years back of a muddy black maloo in london i wanted it. after seeing a detailing album containing more pics a few months ago i decided should it come on the market i would buy it. Its on the market but so steep i cant justify it
maybe next time round.

Looks great even with black wheels IMHO

Surely there comes a point where importing is cheaper. Is this it?
Nope. HSVs hold their money well in Oz. Add in the transport, 22% duty and 20% VAT and it becomes very expensive.$46k for a 2012 E2 @ 1.9188 = £23973
Shipping (low estimate) = £3000
Value for duty = £26973
Duty @ 22% = £5934.06
Value for VAT (excluding terminals) = £32907.06
VAT @ 20% = £6581.41
Total cost landed = £39488.47 Then you need type approval, and last time I checked, I was quoted £3k
Frankly, the Vauxhall offers on new Maloos are very good value.
