Getting to know the R8 a little better and I'm thinking the steering is a bit light and reacts to every dip and camber change in the road. Is this normal? Does anyone know if the Road Response Pac would fix this.

What you have sounds about same as mine , I think the rrp would help a little but I think a all round shock absorber change and use origonal springs is most realistic route , I'm currently saving for it , my front mounts need doing in time so will do the job in one go

Remote diagnosis is unlikely to be the most accurate smile , but yes - R8 steering is a bit lighter than ideal, and whilst far from numb, isn't as communicative as you (or I) might like.

Mine has some sensitivity to cambers, but it's not dominant - certainly wouldn't say that it tramlines badly. Only driven one other briefly, but it didn't tramline either.
