E46 M3 Conv Hardtop Issue!
Discussion
My local BMW dealers really are a complete shower of s
te!
Last November when it was MoT'd and serviced (at nearly four figure cost!) I asked them to adjust the hardtop as it was rattling, which they did, but obviously too tight or at least not correctly as I took it off today to find it has rubbed the paintwork down to the primer at one point and down to bare metal at another, bloody livid. Not sure if they are open tomorrow but any bets they will deny all responsibility for it and I will have to foot the repair bill!
I know the pics are a bit poor but it is because I have covered them in vaseline so they dont go rusty before its fixed

Update - Well after over a month and a lot of calls I think they realised I wasn't going to go away so they agreed to do the work at there cost. It's now been done and to be fair its a good job you wouldn't know but I gather it was expensive as the dealer was arguing with there own body shop over the cost of repair. But you get what you pay for, I had the front bumper blown over last year as covered in stone chips, it was cheap and you can tell (if you look closely)
