Hi all,

I'm looking to get a caterham which has to be an SV mainly for track use and driving to circuits. I'm not worried about budget at the moment as I'm in the planning stage.

Choices at the moment seems to be the R400 D SV which seems to be the quickest available. Did they make a R500 SV ?

Does anyone else know of a well sorted SV that available ?

Thanks

No 63 and No 150 are in here:-

Both were R500 SV models, so there were a few made, not sure how many in total though!

Biggest problem is finding one, they seem to be as rare as rocking horse do do!

Perhaps there are more CSR 260' s about?

Sevens and classics have a nice orange R400D SV with the roller barrels.

Speaking as a bit of a caterham novice, is the Orange one they have better than the White one ? Ignoring the 5k less miles for the Orange one ?

I like the roller barells but would like a dry sump too, which the Orange one doesn't have.

I think it was part of the used cars, but didn't pay it a lot of attention I'm afraid as there was a lot to look at rotate
Suggest you give them a call in the morning? wink

I wouldn't worry about a dry sump unless you intend running slicks on track at any time then definitely you need a dry sump. Roller barrels are worth having. I would be very interested in the orange car only I don't want an SV, I want an S3 in that spec!

It's hard to find the right car at the right price at the right time!
