Having made a last minute decision to go this year, I've just been on the on line ACO ticket shop. Being tight, I can save 22€ by printing my own "e tickets". I'm buying two GE and a parking.

My question has anyone else done this? Do printouts scan reliably and are they likely to become soggy unusable mess, leaving me ticketless if it rains?

I've successfully used e tickets for flights and concerts in the past, but the ACO weren't involved so I wasn't worried.

I think e-tickets are new for this year, don't recall seeing them last year.

I still have a lanyard and plastic pouch so will print, fold and store in there - covers for your rain plus beer spillage!

I have used e tickets at Spa for a number of years with no problems and so I have printed e tickets for all 5 of us this year for Le Mans. Secret is as said is to use a clear plastic holder and print two copies of each ticket so that you have a spare.

In the future, people will be using ticket apps on their watch, but forgetting their watch doesn't last more than 18 hours - handy for a 24hr race :-)

E- tickets purchased and printed. I'm going to take two copies of each, as if it's a sunny one (as if) I'm not certain the parking pass won't fade away whilst sat in the windscreen.

Ink-jet prints should be fine in a sunny window. But you'll only need the ticket to get in I think.

Come to think about it, they will have to scan them in and out to stop folk just waving any old bit of paper with a bar-code on. The printed tickets from the ACO were just a quick visual check if I remember last year.
