Help with iphone photo geotags

When I view the photos I've taken on my iphone the location also appears on screen, eg st Marks square etc. When I import the photos into Windows I can see the GPS co-ordinates are in the exif data but there's no location name. What I'd like to be able to do is automatically tag the photos with the location name as viewed on the iphone. I've been down several dead ends with software that seems designed to add gps data based on external gpx files but nothing that seems to do what I want.
