... any advice and recommendations on leather care products for seats.?over the years, have tried every product, keep coming back to supaguard leather barrier.. even if you have wet jeans on full Mag leather it just wipes off. Apply 2 thin coats, then about 3 times year, wipe with hot damp cloth.. and repeat, takes about 15 mins to do front and back....the dirt just sits on top, and it dries to a matt like finish.....
If your seats don't need cleaning and just want revitalising, then you might want to try E45 cream.

Leather is after all just skin.
You'll find that your wife will have a tube of it lying around the house.
Massage the cream well in to the leather with your hands (this is actually quite enjoyable). Leave it overnight and gently buff with a soft cloth.

If its coated leather rubbing creams etc in won't do anything, because it'll just sit on the top and not soak in.

Adding 'conditioners' which generally contain oils and waxes will change the appearance of your leather over time as dirt will build up on the surface and cause a sheen.
Using the correct care methods and products will not alter the factory finish.

Leather however finished has to remain breathable and it will allow the movement of
moisture back and forth (transpiration) so the use of water based cleaners and
protectors will keep the leather correctly hydrated which is essentail to keeping it in
good condition.
Leather needs a little regular care and attention and this can be done with a maintenance product rather than a deep clean which you would then only need to do once or twice a year depending on usage and colour.
You will find that detergent style cleaners will remove the protection applied so you would need to reprotect each time you clean.
A maintenance product like Auto Ultra Maintain helps to retain the protection rather than remove it so a reapplication of protector is only required after a deep clean.
Whilst individual products may be effective if they have not been tested together you may find they are counter productive
The routine for correct care should be
Protect from new Auto Ultra Protect
Maintain with a regular clean or maintenance product Auto Ultra Maintain
Deep clean with a foam cleaner once or twice a year Auto Ultra Foam
Simple steps of cleaning & protecting will prolong the life of the finish on the leather "

Without wanting to sound like too much of a geek, if you have a 997 the seats will be coated leather so don't need "feeding" as just cleaning.
Use a vacuum and get rid of as much grit and s
t from the seams/creases as you can because that's what causes wear and cracks, and use something decent like Gliptone, Dr Leather wipes, or 303 protectant.
These folks are good http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk but equally you're not going to go too far wrong just heading down Halfords and getting some Autglym leather cleaner.

It's taken away the used shine look on the seats, steering wheel and door handles as well as added an old leather smell so would recommend if you want to spruce up your interior without spending money on a detailer.

I've always used Autoglym leather care balm on my cars. Whilst i haven't tried any alternatives, the leather stays supple and looks good. 911V commented on how good the interior on my 993 was when i sold it to them many moons ago having owned it for 6 years (leather care applied twice a month).

+1 I also use the same product, I treat my seats etc every four months. My car is a old 87 model, still looks good and got that leather smell when you open the doors.Ajit.
Most people just do not look after leather seats?
I did try other products, always came back to Autoglym never let me down so stay with it now.
