My chassis is currently away getting zinc plasma sprayed. This galvanises the chassis but it is a much thinner layer than you would get with hot dip. So I'm looking to have a second layer above this. I'm thinking about Epoxy Mastic 121 - has anybody used this or is there anything else that is better?

I'm just about to have the same done and my choice is white epoxy mastic from Bilt Hamber as they have a very good reputation. EM is supposedly extremely tough so you probably wont go far wrong using it.

the only problem i could see with the epoxy mastic 121 was that it wasn't uv stable.

Jonbouy - I notice that none of the Epoxy Mastic paints are UV stable, they suffer from "chalking" which I presume means that it degrades back to powder. The advice seems to be that the Epoxy Mastic should be covered with a top layer of unaffected paint in order to protect it, maybe just as well since it comes in such exciting colours - white, black, or grey!! Any thoughts on how it would stand up to heat in the exhaust effected area?

If your car is parked upside down long term you probably have bigger problems than the chassis coating?
