Carrera Sport wheel colour option

I'm just after some opinions on how to get my wheels painted.

They're due to go back in to the OPC this week as the paint has gone transparent and I'm wondering if I should go for a matte/satin black rather than the current gloss look?

Also if I should get the inside painted, even though this wouldn't really make a huge difference, it might be easier to clean!

Had a quick google search but couldn't find many pics.

I'd refinish them how they are. You get the matt look when they're dirty anyway!

I would go with gloss black but get the insides done too.

I personally like the way Porsche only do the face of the wheel black with the silver edge and silver/gre innards and it makes the wheels look OEM done rather than refurbished..

Can I ask how much you have been quoted?

I was quoted £80+VAT per wheel at my local OPC body shop to get the face repainted gloss black keeping the edge and inside the wheel silver (albeit a different 19" wheel)

Thanks for the input. You're right, they do look matte when they get dirty, also went on a long run this weekend (over 300 miles) and the insides turned black from all the dust anyway!

I paid £100 + VAT at Bristol OPC originally so £80 sounds like a good deal

Agree wholehearteldy with this- Saw some freshly refurbed Carrera Sports from Chris at Exel wheels- regular silver with GT silver spokes. The GT silver appears a lot darker on a wheel compared to on the bodywork- a really nice contrast with a brighter silver rim.
