Ultra Violent's old Flachbau for sale!
Discussion
Only 'lightly' for sale, if that makes sense.
Just getting it out there in the hope that there is a fellow enthusiast that would like to take over ownership.
Have had a few people interested last year, and some London 'summer' visitors interested in something different to hoon around Mayfair in but really was hoping to hand it over to someone who knew James or the car.
Limiting my market, maybe, but although I do have to sell at some point this year I am not desperate. It could even push into next year so biding my time for the right person/ buyer rather than flood the classifieds.
And obviously i could do without joy riders ringing up for a spin hence only on here where you would hope the right sort of person would be looking?
The person on the street just thinks its another modded 964 that should have been left alone.

Whats she been vboxed 0-300 kph out of interest?
One of the issues with these more exotic builds is the owner needs to be well heeled IMO as these sort of highly modified and tuned engines often need rebuilds if used as intended at their outer threshold competing at VMAX and other such top speed events.
Lovely piece of kit.

Hi guys.
Thanks for your interest.
I know talking to Richard Chamberlin that the car only did a few runs after the build before being put into storage due to James's poor health, and sadly subsequent passing.
A LOT of time and money was spent on R&D to ensure reliability, and since I have owned it I have only done a few local trips out in it. Full throttle in any gear is only a few second affair on public roads as you can imagine so engine wise it is fresh.
Spent time and money getting it more road usable, as the suspension was a bespoke KW clubsport setup which was way to hard for road use in Essex so now has Bilsteins (the KW's will come with the car) and two sessions at Owen Developments fine tuning the mapping for light throttle loads as originally the car was very rich at part load and was not happy even holding a steady 70mph!
The wheels were refurb'ed by Adrian (THE Speedline rebuilder) and new discs fitted as the high speed stops had micro cracked the originals.
Sadly a house project which was on the horizon is now sharply in focus as I completed on the plot last week, but it will take a year or so paperwork wise on planning and possible further land acquisition, hence the need to find a home for it at some point in the next 12-18 months much to my dismay as it was to be a keeper.
