When I started my PCM2.1 nav yesterday, it located me as being in the East End of London which was not a good start as I was actually 15 miles away in the SW suburbs!

During my drive to the south coast, it catapulted me about all over the country and I ended up in Faversham in Kent rather than Brighton.

I ejected the disc and put it back in, but there was no change. The car is 10 years old, and I have never had a problem with it before (5 years of running the original discs and 5 years with a back up).

I have actually just decided to replace the PCM with a new CarPlay unit and am just waiting for the harness to become available, but I'd like to sort this out first because I'll keep the PCM to put back in if I ever decide to sell the car.

Any ideas?

Check you have satellites (press the nav button on your pcm then scroll to status) If you haven't then it could be your antennae which might have come unattached, this happened to my Boxster 987
