Reverse and passengers side brake light
Discussion
Hi me again.
Car in for MOT tomorrow and I've noticed the left hand side brake light and reverse light are both not working. All other lights fine.
Is this a known or common problem both lights fail together? I'm taking the car to my local garage for the MOT and their TVR knowledge is not on par with a specialist so if I can fix before tomorrow then great.

i had the same, but both brakelights and the reverse did'nt work.
the problem was solved via reverselight-switch (ford-part), on the right side of the gearbox close to the top.
you must remove the middle-console to reach/exchange the switch, very bad work for big hands ..
the problem is, that both electrical circuits have the same fuse (n° 38, 7.5A), it's the 4th from "far away" so over the accelerator-pedal. (take care or you will get to search the falling down behind the pedalbox)
the only way to have brakelights for the moment is to change the fuse and NOT use the reverse gear.
