Nightmare of a day today. Really big speed bump in the centre of London, a little too big as I found out when the car grounded on the way down.

I have scuffed the front fin at the edge of the number plate and also underneath the plate itself. It is not that noticible from the front but I have taken a layer of fibreglass off and obviously the paint too.

Was hoping that someone may have some advice on tackling the repair without having to take it to a bodyshop as it is not that visible.

Hope someone out there can help!

if you are not bothered about it visibly then just seal it up with something to stop water etc getting in - some fibreglass resin on it then a bit of touch up pen will do

other than that wait for an upgrade and fit dome Alvan front splitters over the 'ears' at the front - about £400 fitted and sprayed

This might sound daft but if you can't see it then duct tape? Cheap as you like, bullet proof and should keep it somewhat tidy.

Just a thought....the number of times cars get damaged on these...can a person not claim from the Council?
