Yes it will, You just have to draw the holes to fit (they are about half a hole out)and fit a matching master cylinder.

Price look reasonable. How doe the price quote for the master cylinder compare with other sources?

Certainly looks encouraging, and in fairness the price isnt unreasonable for an otherwise obsolete part. I am presuming, without having seen one, that this is effectively a match to the Ford servo/mastercylinder arrangement (sorry, haven't got time right now to check the part numbers). Will the mounting holes therefore be an issue? I would have thought it would only be an issue for cars originally fitted with SAAB servos, and a relatively minor issue at that. I presume TVR Parts Ltd will be able to specify the correct master cylinder and preferably also the correct adjustment for the servo for use on an S.

Several of us spent many hours trying to get a responsible solution to this. It worked well for a time then 'our' solution also in turn became increasingly difficult to source. Judging by the sheer number and regularity of posts on this issue it has become one of the most important parts issues facing owners of 'our' cars. We know that there appear to be more of 'our' cars being cherished and restored now, and this issue will face most people restoring S types.

Personally I would love it, and consider it VERY RESPONSIBLE of TVR Parts Ltd, if they would go so far as to specify which servo they will supply, with which master cylinder, to fit each of the models for which this is now a major problem. No more messing around trying to source alternatives with matching performance. No more risks arising as a result of people unknowingly fitting mismatched alternatives. No more 'ifs' and 'buts' and 'maybe's'.

This would be a SERVICE to those of us anxious to preserve TVR heritage. Might I go so far as to suggest that we ask the TVROC to raise that issue with TVRPL?

Well it looks "fatter" than the Ford one but I'm guessing that if everything lines up and it mates to a m/cyl with the correct stroke & bore & pipe out-lets it will be OK. Anyone know different?
