Cleaning Engine??
Discussion
I think there is a few parts i.e. butterfly assymbly and throttle linkages that are all connected. I personally wouldnt touch it unless I had some instructions on how to put it back together. It probably is fairly simple t5hough but I didnt fancy having it in bits for 2 months while I scratch my head. I have small hands so managed to get my fingers in the small areas. I used white spirit followed by acetone(I dont think you can buy this, I pinched it from work). Looks nice and clean now.
Get some Auto-Glym engine cleaner and a toothbrush. Apply former with latter to the rocker covers. Be careful when washing off.
Oh, I should also point out that last time I did this, they stayed clean for all of 200 metres driving so I haven't bothered since. The engine bay in a Griff is functional. If you want to pose with an open engine cover, get a Cerbera 4.5 with the twin carbon fibre things or an Alfa V6 with polished inlet pipes.
