Afternoon All,

I'm looking for a TV around 40" to be used for showing my clients edits of videos I have done.

It doesn't need to be a smart tv, have sound or even have a TV tuner. Just as long as it has HDMI inputs.

The main focus is quality, budget isn't high, looking around the £400 mark.

I'll be using a colour accurate display for colour grading etc, this is just for client playback.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you planning to calibrate a standard set yourself or get an ISF calibrator to do it for you? Are you asking which sets are easiest to accurately calibrate either using your own calibration equipment or an ISF calibration engineer?

Sorry, should of been more clear.

I'm looking for recommendations for a LCD/LED tv which can be used as a client monitor.

It will be calibrated myself, it doesn't need to be totally accurate as it's just for client use.

Sorry, having 'Colour Accurate TV' in the title is somewhat misleading.

Just check of screens that have 'ISF Calibration' or just even a detailed Custom Calibration setting.

Or some of the better computer monitors might be better as they are designed for detailed art and editing work.

we're currently using NEC EA224WMi monitors - smaller than you want at 22" but they do larger varients
Very good colour accurate monitors - we use them for HD broadcast validation

I can't imagine you getting the quality you're after for a £400 40" TV. I very much doubt they'll have the isf calibration settings available either.

The Sony W905B, was at Pixmania for £299, now £338 I think will calibrate pretty close to perfect.
