Price point - factors...?

Trying to get a feel for price points (without advertising!) so generically speaking... What are the major affecting factors?
I see a right mish mash of cars in the classifieds so am struggling with fair benchmarks... But here's the top-of-my-head thinking:
Mileage - Affect/impact of a rebuild? Presumably that's positive?
Model - some more desirable than others? 4.2 vs 4.5 etc
Colour - dare I even mention it!
Mods - stock versus desirable mods? Exhausts, shocks, lights etc
History - receipts and spend etc
Lineage - who's looked after her? Which indies etc?
Interior - condition
Anything else for the Cerb?

I think the build year matters to some.
- Perceived weaknesses in the 1996/1997 4.2 crankshafts, 1999 chassis powdercoating, 2001+ Mk2 windscreen/A-pillars/roll structure etc.
- Which wheels & tyres are fitted plus age and condition of latter
