I need to order up a new set of number plates for the S. However, as the car is currently away being restored does anyone know the correct size. When I had to replace the rear plate a couple of years ago I had to trim it down to fit.

Cheers

20 mm shorter than standard.

Info here: - www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=123346&f=11&h=0&hw=fancy+plates

You can oder them from fancy plates (do a google search) at a good price and next day delivery and no hassle producing all your log book and MOT, drivers license etc like you now have to at Halfords.

I bought mine from them and you can even specify the border and a logo, mine have the TVR logo on the left side.

you will need a second set of plates because if you don't go with standard lettering ,you can be failed on MOT
