k. Have they 'shopped' the bonnet badge out or is it missing 
It hasn't got air con by the looks of it or 16" wheels either. Well overpriced in my opinion. Doesn't look as though the rocker covers have ever been pageant blue either

I couldn't resist a look at the 1600E.
Always loved those when I as younger.
But now when I look at the wooden dashboard, it is obvious Ford just nailed a plank on top of the standard dash. The dials and radio are recessed so far back they look ridiculous now.
Time changes perspective I guess !

I have such fond memories of everything I got up to in my first car, a 1967 Mini 850. How we managed some of the things we did in that car.......
Always loved driving it, always flat out. I managed Nottingham to Cambridge, via Melton Mowbray and Oakham, in 82 minutes for the 90 miles. Mostly twisty single carriage way A roads in those days, no dual carriage way that I remember. I couldn't do that time now in a car with 10 times the power. I did 3000 mies around Europe in it in 4 weeks in the summer of 1974, loved that car.
I got a chance to drive a similar aged Mini recently.......aaaaaarghhhhhh! Horrible sitting position, after 100 miles I actually had to stop because of the pain in my left leg, got out and promptly fell over. Sat in a 1980s Porsche 928 recently.......horrible plastic tat interior. I love the look of the Triumph TR6, but I wouldn't want to drive one.
I find it amazing that my 21st century Audi A8 doesn't put me off driving the TVR, but I guess it's just a different kind of driving experience, not a comparison.

My dad bought one new from Dees of Croydon when I was 15. £1,300.00 delivered iirc.Always loved those when I as younger.
