As it says really, I think my A-frame bushes are original 1995 vintage and knacked, any opinions on standard or upgrades?!

Thanks

Used to race a live-axle car. Would get through a pair of bushes every weekend! I always stuck with standard ones though, as I felt that to strengthen the bush would just place extra strain on the clevis on the axle. I did try powerflex bushes and there was zero discernible benefit.

Get practicing, I used to change 'A'-frame bushes in about 5 minutes in the paddock!

I have used Polly bushes for years - and I have 210 BHP through a live axle.

Much better than the standard bushes.
The last set lasted 5 years and over 100K miles!

Replaced my standard 'A' frame bush setup many, many, years ago with a spherical joint unit. Changed the bearing once at around 80k miles.
The change required a modified 'A' frame and was done whenever the mod was first introduced - mid 80's?
Standard cockpit, live (RS2000) axle.
