Album listing from Media Player

[Prof Higgins]

Anyone know of some way I could extract an album list (to csv file or similar) from Media Player or indeed direct from the windows file structure .
Have finally completed ripping all of my cd's to mp3 over last couple of months, would now quite like a list that I copy over to my phone (smarthone so could be excel or database etc) so always have it with me - a bit sad I know but have a silly habit of forgetting that I have already got something, seeing it is cheap whilst out and about and buying it again.

If you're a programmer, there's a COM interface to Media Player and you can interrogate and modify the library from Visual Basic / C# / ...

I can email you some stuff tomorrow

I have written a program in VB

Get TagScanner, import your library and you can then get them in CSV format.

Thanks to all - Tagscanner has come up trumps. Little bit of tweaking with the output file and I have a lovely clear list detailing all currently owned albums....
