Hi,

Im best man for a mate and Im thinking of arranging a mini bike tour as part of his stag do. We quite fancy spain. Do you know if this posible to get a train with bikes on from Northern France to either spain or perhaps italy?

has anyone doen this and any recomendations for links, trains, routes etc.

Err, it's a bike trip. Why not just ride down?

time, we may only have 3-4 days and want to spend them on the best roads, thats why im asking for recomendations.

There was a train that took cars from Belgium to Milan overnight. I guess they would take bikes.

I'll see if I can hunt down details....

Have a look at Motorail

They do trains through France which should get you close to Alps or Pyranees.

You need to contact them for prices. Might also be worth looking at overnight ferries to Santander, there's usually discount codes in some of the bike mags.

I've used the Motorail. We had two DRZ400 trailies. The train may clatter along an old branch line, and be relatively expensive, but it will get you there.
