There are no more front brake hoses available for Cerberas
Discussion
I called up Racing Green today (or TVR Parts) and they confirmed that there are no longer any front brake hoses available in standard form. Now, I upgraded to the braided type a couple of years back but they were too short on the front and failed the MOT. I rectified this by buying another set and using the new rear hoses from that set for the front. Now my MOT chap says they are too long and are too close to moving parts.
I have sourced some brake hose clamps but don't know where I should mount them to support the hoses (in order that they are kept out the way of moving parts)
Any ideas guys?

If too long use cable ties to route them safely, that's what I did with mine that were a tad to long.
Be VERY careful doing that... small movements of braids can result in (out of sight) abrasion.LooneyTunes said:

There is no movement where mine are secured, so no wear issue.
Excellent. I'm always cautious as one of my cars came with braided oil cooler pipe that slowly ate its way through the ignition coil casing causing an intermittent fault that took ages to pin down.Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
