An excellent price - I'm even tempted myself for that price to have it as a "rough and tumble" version to throw it in the back of the car and leave it there...

Looks almost identical to my £40 Jessops jobbie, which is, incidentally, utter toss. I've heard it described as a 'wobble-pod'. Its undoubtedly much better than not having one, but nowhere near as good as a decent one, like a Manfrotto etc.

For that price I think I'll give it a punt and see how it shapes up.

Is that the £7.99 one? Can't get ebuyer to work at the moment for some reason.

If so, then I've got one, does the job but then i've never used an expensive one to know the difference.

However you have to pay 5 squids postage so it's not as cheap as it appears.

In any case I've ordered one!
