Fleet Tracking

[SteveC72]

Can anyone recommend a provider of fleet tracking? My current provider has gone from bad to worse to unusable.

I have 46 vehicles with basic tracking and reporting info and they are on a month to month rolling contract. I don't need any fancy telematics, just basic up to date position info and historic journey reporting.

Any recommendations greatly received.

Thanks in advance.

we use www.ramtracking.co.uk have been brilliant, the iPhone and android apps are great for checking locations of the vehicles.

It might well be worth talking to Tony of Anycom. Please let me know if you need his contact details.

Mate of mine runs http://www.insiris.com/

They do tracking via their Unity platform, it's really good stuff.

Send me a PM if you'd like an email address for them, or a demo.

I use quartix. have done for a few years. basic positioning + route maps are what I needed. rent or buy units.

We use Navman, really good, with 2 way written coms, and it is very low cost. We only operated 15 ish vehicles on it but it is great.

Apparently ALL new DAF's have tracking built in and can be activated for hardly any cost. I am not 100% sure of this but had a convo with DAF this morning...

After looking at the different options, we've opted for Masternaut [http://www.masternaut.co.uk/vehicle-tracking/vehicle-tracking.aspx].

Being installed on 3 vehicles tomorrow so can't comment on its use as of yet!
