Iphone 6 Adapter - V8 Vantage 2010
Discussion
Hello, i'm having problems using the iphone 6 when connected with the Apple adapter (authentic). When the music plays it doesn't change track and all of a sudden it stops displaying the message 'Connect device'.
AM doesn't seem to respond when asked if there's a new cable for Iphones 5/5s/5c/6.
Any idea on how to resolve this?
Thank you.

I've had problems with my iPhone 6 in my Aston and my BMW - I deleted all the music and play lists and started again and it seemed to cure it although I've nowhere near the number of tracks at the moment. You could try that.
The Bluetooth streaming might work, my way is cheaper to try

A tangential suggestion (no cost).
Your MY 2010 car will have a USB socket.
Download uncompressed from YouTube.
Extract audio as a .wav file.
Place the sound files on a USB stick.
Plug in, set Premium Audio to USB and enjoy.
Job's a goodun.
(Don't forget a few James Bond tracks, and the wonderful sound of Aston Martin Racing GT3s and GTEs.)

USB already plugged in, with plenty of tunes including Golden Eye, The World is not enough etc... Your MY 2010 car will have a USB socket.

It seems that the only other solution is an old Iphone/Ipod! AM did it again!!!!!

Mine works a treat in the V8 and DBS. Although I have had various problems with the iPhone in my other cars and a hard reset and reboot seems to solve it. Perhaps its not the AM?
I thought that it might be the Iphone but it does work sometimes... And that 'Please connect device' message kind of shows that it's the Aston. Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
