Just got a s3 Sportsback and interested in getting a rhodesian ridgeback.
Quite a large dog and concerned with the size of the s3s boot. It's quite shallow.
Anyone got experience of this size of dog and boot size combo of the s3 or similar?

Bonus points for letting your choice of car dictate your choice of canine.

I'd expect it would fit but not comfortably. RS6 time, maybe?

We have a Labrador similar size to the Ridgeback , she fits fine in the Golf two door, but less room in wifes four door Focus.
Should be fine in the sportback.

My 8st Ridgeback fits easily in to the wife's Mk 6 Gtd easy
I remember a evo review of the previous rs3 , the reviewer stated his lab struggled to fit in the boot due to the angle of the back seats
Would be worth a look see first

Our Great Dane / Lab X happily sits in the back of my 2015 Leon. The boot may be shallower on the S3 due to the Quattro though.

I have an S3 at the moment (2014 car, 3 door) - A dog will fit in the boot and it will be able to lay down but the space may be a little tight dependent on size of the dog.
