26" MTB Tyres for Road / Bridleway Use

As per title really: What are decent tyres for a mountiain bike used on the road or on light trails, e.g. no large rocks /technical downhills?

Depends on mileage on roads etc, but for general use Racing Ralphs are decent rolling and have decent grip too, this time of year.

Schwalbe Land Cruisers are great on road and fine on bridle ways and trails. I've used them on all kinds of terrain on my cyclocross bike and they are the tyre of choice for the 3 Peaks cyclocross race.

Extremely puncture resistant too.

I've been using Schwalbe City Jets on my MTB for the last few years for exactly that.

Completed the L2B on it (before getting a road bike) as well as regular recreational and commuting use. The commute is a mixture of road, cycle path and canal tow path.

It's clearly a more road biased tyre with little more than a tread pattern on it but so long as you dont expect it to climb muddy/wet hills it's been fine for me.

My hardtail came with these on and ive been very impressed (27.5" version)
