Before you start looking for a replacement engine or a rebuild you need to have the condition of the engine ascertained. A real loss of oil pressure is rare. However, I have to say in this case with the engine making noises that doesn't, pardon the expression, sound good.

But have a professional Porsche tech make a diagnosis as to what is wrong. It may not be severe enough to require engine rebuild or replacement.
