Nice vid and the 87 Carrera looked dead cool as the La F drove past it. Saw these at VMAX. I bet they have my 2 runs against their 918 driven by his Mrs - doubt we'll see the vids released though lol

so at what level of extreme wealth do you not need to bother with front number plates? Or am I missing something?

"Multi-millionaire Mr Bailey, who sold his telephone conferencing business for £28million in 2012, described his fleet of performance motors as "totally amazing".

Think he should avoid the food bank for a while yet, made a lot on the cars already

Like his personalisation of the Spyder and LaFerrari, although the name on the steering wheel is unbelievably naff

+1 918 made La F and P1 look average imo. I loved th P1 design when it first came out but did not give it a second glance in flesh. There was an Enzo at vmax which made La F look ordinary. Quality and workmanship for 918 on another level

The 918 looks lovely, but derivative to my eyes (at least Porsche are consistent!). The P1 and La Ferrari look like proper hypercars. In it's race mode the P1 looks amazing.

Confirms the sad truth that hypercars are usually bought by people more interested in chrome and other shiny things than cars. The chap pootled along at 1000rpm in each of the cars, banging on about colour schemes and options without end and barely mentioned the power trains.

He also got a Weissach pack and then put back in everything that Porsche takes out! I cannot think of anything more dull headed...

I've neither met nor know Paul Bailey, but I know of him from his contributions to Evo over the years. He's clearly a complete petrolhead, does Vmax events in his cars ? Euro hoons etc (and uses his cars for charity work too ?)

So credit where credit is due, he clearly uses his cars (and anyone that can start and build up a business, make it sufficiently successful that they can then sell out less than 15 years later for £28m, has to have done something right and be a smart cookie) But this video is truly cringeworthy. Crass, self indulgent and as one previous post said, "Money can't buy you taste" (and a quick look at last weeks TV programme about Amari and Tom Hartley proves that point rather avidly)

They'll no doubt be plenty of individuals fawning over this video, but in reality it's truly ghastly, but more worrying still is that the PH Porsche forum seems to be heading the same way with too many individuals seeing it as a platform to display their wealth and their lack of taste/discretion.

Same here, never met him, don't know him other than reputation, but I have to say with everything I hear he doesn't come across as a car enthusiast, he comes across as a flashing his money enthusiast who likes to do it via cars.

Well that's good to hear, I hope you're right! As I said, I don't know him at all, but that's how he comes across. TBH that's exactly how he comes across the in vid. As someone mentioned above, he seems more interested in talking about the custom interior and all the extra carbon parts than the performance or driving experience of any of the cars.

Does he own any classics do you know? Or more a new supercar kind of guy?

Agreed. I don't know him, but I have seen him (and his cars) around the British GT paddock (he also races in Blancpain GT series). He strikes me as a man with a passion for driving and for cars and spends his money as he chooses. His wife’s a complete pertolhead as well…

From what I know, he’s not a man afraid to use his cars and he was recently at Silverstone for a trackday in the LaF, 918 and P1 I think.

I felt exactly the same way until I saw them all net to each other close up. In fact P1 was my fave closely followed by La F. In the flesh the build quality of the Porsche is breathtaking hence I'd unexpectedly plump for the Porker if my Euro Millions nos come in lol! In fact stet my last comment. I'd have aCGT.

Seems very unfair, I enjoyed the video, went into some detail about aspects of the cars you don't get from Evo, who do the driving experience very well

And seems a nice bloke as far as I can make out, very excited about his new playthings - and the focus of the video was the holy trinity so lots of shots of the 3 together.

He was hardly going to video breaking the speed limit, which only takes a couple of seconds of foot down in any of the 3.

Looks wise the F looks properly exotic, the 918 looks less special but best IMHO and the P1 looks a bit ordinary, and odd from the rear
