So normally eBay is rammed with people offloading overpriced LM camping tickets, but whenever I search there are none there. Have they been banned, am I missing something, or is nobody trying to profiteer this year?!

eBay stopped all event ticket sales a while ago and moved them to another site called Stubhub.

That makes sense then, I was thinking there would be loads on there by now.

I was hoping to pick up unwanted tickets this year. Couldn't meet 1st tickets payment deadline this year as I ploughed everything into starting a business. Now I have monies I cant find tickets, cheers for the stubhub info!

I can't find anything on StubHub? Maybe their site doesn't work on an iPad but I got to the LM 24 category and there's nothing there.

Try Brian at 1st Tickets - I think I heard that he might have something even at this late stage. I know he has been working on something extra at Le Mans for this year.

I have the tickets I need, but always keep an eye out for discount entrance tickets just in case. In fact I probably have one or two spare camping passes to offload and wanted to judge what the going rate was as they're for the new Epinettes site and I have no idea how in-demand (or not) it might be.

The ACO haven't released any of the tickets/camping passes yet so nobody has anything in their possession they can sell on eBay. As soon as they are sent out you will see them listed. I sold a spare Houx camping pass and GA tickets on eBay last year, so unless they have changed their policy in the last 12 months, then that's the place to look...

They were sent out ages ago actually, I've had mine for weeks. That's why I thought it was unusual.

If you are an ACO member or purchases direct you receive them earlier than the ticket agencies. I usually get mine from First Tickets in early May. When the ticket agencies release them I think you'll see some activity on eBay...

Only info I have is what my regular ticket agent is telling me. Where did you source your tickets?

Mine came from the ACO, they sent them out ages ago, and I have no idea why an agent would want to hold them instead of sending them out immediately and passing the risk of loss to the buyer rather than storing them.

GT6 may have mentioned a few times in the past that he sources his tickets at the Le Mans tourist office biggrin

So, Stubhub is rubbish, I've registered and tried to list the tickets and am confronted with this page.

No way of obviously listing a camping ticket, and knowing how eBay works I'm sure if I make it super-clear in the description what the ticket is they'll still find a way for the buyer to screw me over because it's a camping pass and not parking/GA.

So, time to find another route....

One or two Epinettes tickets. Being a shameless capitalist and having bought them direct from the ACO I was hoping to turn a small profit as the CHF EUR GBP rates have moved miles since I paid for them and eBay was always best for that.

I might give stub hub a punt and see, but I'm not sure given here has been nothing on there for ages, and I don't think it'd be anyone's first place to look for them.
