How on earth do they justify £35 for a couple of small lengths of stainless steel with a couple of threads and a couple of flat bits?? Surely I'd be able to get a steel fabricator to knock some up for a fraction of that?

I was just thinking the same. We get lots of little bits n bobs made up for us at work, and even the guy we use who is good/reliable but expensive wouldn't charge close to that.
