iJust Jane Taxy Run

Did this last week with my dad..60th birthday surprise.
What a fantastic day, and the experience of being on-board her with all 4 engines turning was incredible..even at half throttle(ish) the noise was spine tingling.
We spent more than an hour on-board, half of which was with the engines running & taxying.
All in all, if anyone's interested in doing this I can totally recommend it..well worth every penny.

Did it a few years ago ( thread on here ) and it's worth every penny. Fantastic day out and thoroughly recommended
Totally agree, and we were lucky enough to be able to stand in the cockpit during the taxy run. My uncle was a 100 squadron Lancaster pilot during the war, but was killed in February 1943. To experience just a fraction of what he & thousands of other young men did was both special & humbling. Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
