Did this last week with my dad..60th birthday surprise.

What a fantastic day, and the experience of being on-board her with all 4 engines turning was incredible..even at half throttle(ish) the noise was spine tingling.
We spent more than an hour on-board, half of which was with the engines running & taxying.

All in all, if anyone's interested in doing this I can totally recommend it..well worth every penny.

Totally agree, and we were lucky enough to be able to stand in the cockpit during the taxy run. My uncle was a 100 squadron Lancaster pilot during the war, but was killed in February 1943. To experience just a fraction of what he & thousands of other young men did was both special & humbling.
